Dia De Muertos.

Dia De Muertos. As you may already know, in Mexico they have a tradition that consists of setting up an altar for the dead from October 30th to November 2nd,
This is a rendition of a candy skull, traditionally made of sugar, chocolate, amaranth seeds and many other sweet things.
These little skulls also known as "calaveritas" or "alfeñiques" are given as gifts among people and you can add a name to the forehead, whether it is the person receiving the gift or a deceased loved one (if you give this with the name of another person, it does not mean that you want them dead).
We celebrate death, we mourn, we dance, we remember, we pay our respects.
In the altar and offerings you will find the deceased's "calaverita" with the name, it is a gift of candy and food that is offered to relatives so that they can enjoy when they come to visit from the afterlife.
